This 2-day trip offers a glimpse into the agrarian life of the vibrant southern Delta region as we wind our way through the tributaries of the Mekong Delta. From our boats, we are able to closely observe the daily rituals of river life and participate in the bustling commercial activities as we buy our fruits from the floating market. Along the way, we will visit an orchard farm, handicraft village, and a land market with an abundance of colorful fresh fruits and vegetables.
TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: Saigon – Cai Be – Vinh Long – Can Tho (L,D) |
Pick up at your hotel in HCMC at 7h30 am. Depart for Cai Be floating village. On arrival in Cai Be, set off by motor boat to visit the Cai Be floating market and watch the locals trading fruit and many other commodities on board their vessels. Keep cruising to Vinh Long through a series of small canals to experience the charms of the Upper Mekong Delta. Experience the daily life by a visit to coconut candy workshop, taste the little brown sweets. Visit local houses to learn the process of making rice cakes and pop rice. Stop at the ancient house for lunch including the popular dish of 'Elephant ear fish'. Then take the sampan to An Binh islet, we will wander into the small villages to visit the orchard and fruit plantation. Enjoy seasonal fruits and listening to traditional music before continuing the drive to Can Tho. O/N at hotel in Can Tho.

Day 2: Can Tho – Cai Rang floating market – Saigon (B,L) |
Early morning starts your day with a boat trip to Cai Rang – the most colorful and busiest floating market in Mekong Delta. The market offers insights of the region. Have time to explore the real rural daily life. Have lunch in Can Tho before getting back to Saigon.
