Attending the workshop, there was the presence of Mr. Nguyen Van Doc-Chairman of QNPPC, along with other provincial leaders, leaders of relevant provincial departments,  nearly 70 delegates representing European travel agencies, leading enterprises as well as journalists.

Speaking at the workshop, Chairman Doc strongly affirmed that under the master plan of Quang Ninh on socio-economic development to the year of 2020 and in the vision of 2030, tourism is defined as one of the vital factors promoting Quang Ninh’s socio-economic sustainable development. Of which, Ha Long city will be the hub for the development of economic sectors oriented to professionalism and modernization.

At the workshop, leaders of Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has made a brief introduction about tourist centers, tourism services and products featuring Ha Long tourism. He also presented Quang Ninh’s orientation in development in tourism such as building brand, typical tourism products, developing infrastructures and tourism resource, in association with the direction of protecting tourism environment and resources of Quang Ninh.
On behalf of the Steering Committee, Vice-Chairwoman Vu Thi Thu Thuy sincerely thanked journalists for their propagation of the Ha Long Week 2012 focusing on European tourist market, and wished that they will continue to propagate, promote Quang Ninh tourism to the world.

After the Press conference, all the delegates joined the formal reception offered by QNPPC at Tuan Chau.
